I am from a ball-busting yet loving family from the small town of Wilmington, Delaware. If you’ve never heard of it, it’s a hop, skip and a ‘jawn’ below Philadelphia where I attended art school receiving my BFA in Fibers and Textiles Studies from the University of the Arts I worked in fashion and fine-art for a decade in Philly before deciding to make the leap to screenwriting and filmmaking in Los Angeles (because I couldn’t make another pair of leggings for the 30 millionth time.)
I write female centered comedies, primarily in the Television space, about the modern woman experience and how absurd that journey feels at times in a male dominated world. My stories will always include a familial or found family element to them, as there’s no better place for chaos. I recently graduated with Summa Cum Laude from the New York Film Academy Los Angeles campus with an MFA degree in Screenwriting.
